About Ernesto
I'm a professional guitarist, composer and producer based in Mexico, and I've spent the last 20 years splitting my life between the stage, the studio and teaching. I perform regularly with my own jazz projects, produce and arrange music for other artists, and write my own material — teaching isn't something separate from that, it's part of the same craft.
What I bring to a lesson is a musician who's still actively doing the thing you want to learn. I understand how it really feels to sit in front of an instrument, get stuck, and find a way through — and I love helping students get past exactly those walls.
Over the years I've taught more than 90 students, from total beginners picking up a guitar for the first time to serious players developing their own voice. My approach is patient, structured, and completely adapted to the person in front of me.

My lessons are built around one goal: making you a better musician, not just teaching you songs. I'm a working professional guitarist and composer with over 20 years of teaching experience, and I specialise in jazz, harmony, improvisation and composition — the areas most players get stuck on when they try to learn alone.
Every lesson is fully personalised. Whether you're a beginner who wants solid foundations, or an intermediate player who wants to finally understand what's happening under your fingers, we build a plan around your level, your taste and your goals.
Lessons are online, so you get studio-quality sound and a clear, patient, structured approach. I've taught over 90 students across all levels — from complete beginners to players who've gone on to release their own music.
