About Mark
I am an experienced guitar teacher holding an Associate of Arts in Guitar Fundamentals with more than 4 years of dedicated teaching practice. My background includes both structured academic study and hands-on stage experience. I focus on coaching students for auditions, live shows, and ensemble environments. Preparing musicians for real-world performance excites me.
During lessons, I prioritise rhythmic tightness and group coordination. Groove matters. I train students to stay locked with percussion, support harmonic structure, and understand their role within a band. Stage confidence is carefully cultivated. Students learn how to move, engage, and project assurance while playing.
My approach is encouraging and disciplined. I push students to refine their technique without losing creativity. Collaboration is central to growth. I teach musicians to communicate through sound, respond to dynamics, and strengthen the overall band performance. I strive to develop guitarists who perform with both precision and passion.

My teaching approach combines playing skills with deep understanding of your instrument. You will learn guitar maintenance, string changes, and basic setup. We also explore electronics and effects pedals to shape your tone and sound. Every lesson is practical, helping you apply what you learn immediately.
I focus on building confidence and independence with your gear. You’ll gain experience in tone control, pedal use, and managing different playing styles. Lessons are structured so you gradually master both musical techniques and instrument care. Each student is guided to reach their full potential.
By the end, you will feel comfortable and confident with your guitar and sound. You’ll have skills to maintain your instrument and express yourself musically. My method ensures you grow as both a player and a gear-savvy musician.
