About Neil
I am a passionate French tutor with over 3 years of experience and a PhD in French Linguistics, committed to making French engaging for teenagers. My academic background allows me to break down complex language patterns clearly and effectively. What inspires me most is working with students aged 13–18 and helping them see French as part of their world.
In my lessons, youth culture is central. We explore contemporary music, viral online trends, and teen cinema to understand real conversational French. Students discover slang and idiomatic expressions. They practice authentic dialogue. Grammar becomes a tool for expression, not a barrier.
I create dynamic sessions that invite participation and creativity. Whether analysing lyrics or debating cultural themes, students stay actively involved. French becomes memorable because it feels relevant.
