About Jake
I have been an extensive resume which include records, films, tv , commercials, touring, arranging, studio productions, voice overs etc. I love working with people of all ages and I I also have a background in working with students with disabilities . There is nothing more satisfying then teaching someone and help them develop and become the musician they envisioned Everyone has dreams but with those dreams comes hard work and dedication. The only way that can be accomplished is by having a great time and learning in a positive and productive environment. I am endorsed with DW (Drum Workshop), Sabian Cymbals, VIc Firth , REMO and Latin Percussion.

Each student has a different goal and this is what we will discuss at the beginning of the lesson. My lesson starts off with listening to the student and find out what they want to achieve, and just as important, find out what their challenges have been up to this point. I have over 40 years of experience in the Music Business which brings a tremendous amount of knowledge that I want to share. I love motivating and inspiring my students to reach their goals and dreams. Because of this experience and background, I'm able to provide shortcuts so we can get maximum results. We will also discuss the music that they like, what if they want to learn, how to read and write music, and find out if they want to play in a band or just be a solo artist on social media. We will talk about time management, how to practice, how to achieve their goals quickly and efficiently, and mot importantly, how to enjoy the process of learning.
