About Xanthe
I am a professional director in Brisbane, and have directed plays, musicals, cabarets, roving theatre and children's productions for 9 years. I have worked with a variety of performers all over the country and specialize in ensemble building, improvisation and text analysis to inform character.

My teaching method is task-oriented and works towards achieving a particular goal. Whether that is building confidence to try something new, an audition or role the student wants to nail, enhancing particular skills like voice projection, improv, understanding of literature (I have worked with Shakespeare texts a LOT); anything can be a driving force for learning.

Perfect! Xanthe had given my 8 year old boy confidence for stage presence. With focus on stage position, voice projection and how to recover from a forgotten line. He has grown to be slower and calmer on stage and focus on the audience. She has been a great addition to helping him be ready with a school play.
She has been exceptional with date and time negotiation, communication and a pleasure to work with.
