About Camille
I attended Arts Educational School in Chiswick, before completing my vocational training at Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Greenwich, London.
I then went on to complete an apprenticeship with National Dance Company Wales before continuing with the company as a professional dancer for the following 11 years, touring nationally and internationally.
I have worked with and performed works by, Roy Assaf, Christopher Bruce, Marcos Morau, Johan Inger, Alexander Ekman, Ohad Naharin, Itzik Gallili, Angelin Prejlocaj, Caroline Finn, Stephen Shropshire and many others.
I have also worked as a company dancer for Alexander Whitley. I was a dancer and dance captain with Danish National Opera on their production of Nixon in China in Copenhagen.
I am currently a freelance dancer, teacher and producer of dance activities for young people in Wales. I believe there is no better way to find freedom and expression than through your body. I believe a dance training and a physical awareness of your body is an invaluable investment whatever you future plans are.
I regularly teach professional classes at National Dance company Wales, Ballet Cymru, Matthew Bourne New Adventures cast and Rubicon Dance Company.
I also have over 10 years experience delivering workshops and classes in a variety of different private and community dance spaces. I have experience teaching people from 0-80+.
Qualifications:
BA(HONS)First class degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of music and dance.
PG Dip in performance.
Guest Lecturer at University of Wales Trinity Saint David

Contemporary:
I teach a released based contemporary class, that follows a technical structure similar to a Cunningham class with a detailed approach tailored to your unique needs/goals. I can also teach floor work classes and improvisation classes depending on the individual needs.
Ballet:
I teach a traditional ballet class, working on technique/form/posture/flow/quality.
Choreography:
I can choreograph contemporary dance solos for shows, competitions, showreels etc.
Which ever session you choose they are all individually tailored to your specific needs and will help improve technique and build confidence.
I have a warm and compassionate approach to the way I teach, I want people to feel confident, empowered, trust in themselves and their ability.
I offer classes in a variety of different settings either through webcam, from my home or a studio for an addition cost.

Perfect! I have just had my first lesson with Camille which I thoroughly enjoyed. She took the time before we met up online to contact me to find out about my background in dance and to understand what I hoped to achieve in lessons. It was clear during the class that she had given a lot of thought to how to best structure the class in order to meet my needs and checked in with me throughout the class to confirm that I was happy with the process. Camille’s approach was compassionate and caring. She helped me to feel confident, as I was returning to ballet after many years, while also giving me useful corrections and suggestions. I am really looking forward to my next class with Camille.
Perfect! Camille is a great teacher! She's patient and knowledgeable, I'm really enjoy my lessons and learning lots. I would definitely recommend her as a tutor!

Camille has a wealth of experience as a performer and teacher ranging many genres. She has an approachable and welcoming teaching style which is perfect for anyone looking to learn dance at any level. She is both encouraging and challenging in her class. I have always enjoyed learning from Camille and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for dance lessons and high quality training.
