About Vashu
Vashu Tangri is a concert pianist and piano educator with nearly 15 years of experience in performance and pedagogy. He has performed internationally, earned a full scholarship to the Mozarteum University Salzburg International Summer Academy (2024, 2025), and won multiple competitions, including 2nd Prize at the Princess Lalla Meryem International Piano Competition (2025).
Currently preparing for his LTCL performance diploma (Trinity College London), Vashu has studied and taken masterclasses with world-renowned pianists such as Leonel Morales and Douglas Finch.
As a teacher, he combines rigorous European classical training with a modern, student-focused approach. Lessons are tailored for:

• Students preparing for ABRSM/Trinity exams
• Competition and conservatory candidates

Vashu sir is one of the best young pianists in India, as of now. With a number of prizes to his name, be it national or international competitions, he stays grounded and humble.
He understands the students very well and customizes the lesson plans based on their strengths and weaknesses.
Vashu sir does not promise immediate results, but if one follows his method of practice diligently, then I'm sure that person would see major improvement in a couple of months. His sound knowledge of music theory is an added advantage because he breaks down each composition and explains exactly why the composition sounds that way.
He is jolly and very approachable also. I have had a great experience with Vashu sir so far and I'm very grateful to have an instructor like him.View more recommendations
