About Claudia
I am an experienced Chess tutor with 7 years of teaching students from school to college level. Over this time, I have successfully guided around 200 students, helping them improve their skills, confidence, and love for the game. My teaching philosophy is centred on patience, clear communication, and adapting lessons to each student’s pace and goals. I focus on building a strong foundation in openings, tactics, endgames, and strategic thinking, while also encouraging creativity and problem-solving. I believe Chess is not just about winning games, but developing critical thinking, focus, and decision-making skills. My students have achieved personal milestones, including school and college-level competitions. I enjoy seeing students grow, progress, and enjoy the game, and I strive to make every lesson engaging, fun, and inspiring.

My lessons emphasise clear communication, integrity, and flexibility, adapting to each student’s pace, style, and goals. I encourage critical thinking and creativity while guiding students to develop their own strategies. Through practical exercises, game reviews, and interactive challenges, I help students build confidence, improve decision-making, and enjoy the game while progressing consistently.
