About Temi
I’m a private tutor that has personally aced many exams from GCSE right to Masters level in recent years. I am confident in my approach and teach others how they can achieve the same results. I have amassed hundreds of hours of teaching on various platforms (e.g. Tutorful, Superprof, as well as private students) and my recent students accepted offers from Cambridge for Chemistry and for Dentistry at Russell Group universities. I achieved a first class degree in Chemical & Energy Engineering (Industrial) in July 2020 and a Masters from Imperial College London in Advanced Chemical Engineering. I received 2 A*'s in Biology and Chemistry at A Level and an A in Mathematics. I have tutored A Level chemistry/maths students, university students and primary school students. I also taught music for 4 years to students ranging from primary school age to university age. I am also a musician that has performed internationally, a Tearfund volunteer, a Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award recipient and was a Dean of Engineering scholarship 3 years running at my university. I have also worked in industry in the engineering field for one of the worlds largest FMCG companies and have a YouTube channel tailored to students giving them tailored steps and advice towards getting into the most competitive companies post higher education.

My teaching methodology is based on active recall which involves activities and tasks designed to actively recall information and problem solving techniques. This has been scientifically proven to be more effective then consuming text book content. I also heavily incorporate exam questions throughout my lessons for the student to learn the examination language and recognise the specificity of mark schemes and curriculums. This is essential for getting the best marks.
