About Priya
️ About Me — Why I Teach
Dance has been a part of my life since childhood. What started as a passion gradually became a profession, and over the years, I have had the opportunity to train, perform, and compete at various national and international platforms.
I have participated in multiple competitions at an international level, earned certifications and recognition along the way, and continued to explore different dance forms and styles. Today, I bring all of that experience into my teaching.
I've also had the privilege of creating wedding and event choreographies for clients across different parts of the world, as well as teaching students with completely different backgrounds, ages, and levels of experience.
But honestly, my biggest motivation for teaching isn't the certificates, competitions, or performances. It's the feeling I get when I see someone learn.
There is something incredibly satisfying about watching a student go from "I don't think I can do this" to confidently completing a step, remembering a routine, or finally performing something they once thought was impossible.
And that's what I want my classes to be about.
A little escape from the chaos
We live in a world where life can feel constantly busy — work, responsibilities, deadlines, and endless things running through our minds.
I want my dance classes to be a small space where you can pause, breathe, enjoy yourself, and forget about everything else for a while.
You don't have to be a professional dancer.
You don't have to be naturally flexible.
You don't even have to think you can dance.
Just come as you are.
We'll learn, laugh, practice, make mistakes, try again, and eventually get it right. And somewhere along the way, you'll realize that you're not just learning dance — you're also gaining confidence and enjoying a little time for yourself.
Your goal becomes my goal
One thing that is very important to me is that I don't teach every student the same way.
I take the time to sit with each student, understand why they want to learn, what they want to achieve, and what might be holding them back, and then I build the lessons around them.
Whether your goal is to learn Bollywood dance, master Belly Dance, prepare for your wedding, perform confidently on stage, learn a particular song, or simply have a fun new hobby — your goal becomes something I genuinely want to help you achieve.
And when you finally achieve it, honestly, it feels like a personal win for me too. ️
