About Rachel

I am a professional artist and experienced art educator specializing in oil painting, though my passion extends to all mediums including graphite, ink, watercolor, acrylic and gouache. My personal work has a tendency towards realism, and I’ve had the privilege of selling many pieces within this genre. While I enjoy teaching the techniques and skills essential to realism, my ultimate goal is to help my students discover their own creative voices. I believe art is a powerful form of self-expression, and I’m here to guide my students in developing their skills and confidence to create work that is uniquely their own.

About the lesson

With my extensive experience as an art teacher and professional painter, I tailor lessons to suit each student’s unique style, interests, and skill level. My passion for art is contagious, and I make learning fun by encouraging experimentation and exploring diverse techniques and mediums. Whether students are beginners or advanced artists, they’ll leave each lesson feeling confident, accomplished, and motivated to keep creating.
