About Taylor
I have 19 years of teaching experience and hold a Doctor of Education in Mathematics. Throughout my career, I have guided students from diverse educational backgrounds toward achieving higher academic performance while building lasting confidence in mathematics. My greatest satisfaction comes from helping learners realize that consistent effort and effective guidance can overcome even the most difficult mathematical challenges.
One student found polynomial factorization particularly challenging because identifying algebraic patterns seemed confusing and inconsistent. Together we practiced recognizing common structures, comparing different solution methods, and solving progressively complex problems until the process became intuitive. By the end of the academic year, the student demonstrated exceptional improvement and consistently solved advanced algebra questions with confidence.
I believe successful learning is built upon patience, encouragement, and meaningful engagement. My classroom promotes curiosity, perseverance, respectful discussion, and independent thinking while creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.

My teaching philosophy is built on the belief that every student can become proficient in algebra when concepts are introduced logically and reinforced consistently. I begin by evaluating each learner's current understanding, academic objectives, and preferred learning methods before designing an individualized study plan. Lessons are carefully sequenced so that foundational concepts support more advanced topics, allowing students to progress with confidence and independence.
Students explore algebraic expressions, equations, inequalities, linear and quadratic functions, graph interpretation, exponents, radicals, polynomial operations, factorization techniques, rational expressions, sequences, systems of equations, and introductory mathematical proofs. Every lesson combines conceptual discussions, guided demonstrations, collaborative problem-solving, and independent exercises that strengthen analytical thinking while improving mathematical accuracy.
To make learning meaningful, I connect algebra to practical fields including economics, software development, engineering, architecture, finance, and scientific research. Students regularly solve real-world application problems that encourage logical reasoning, creativity, and strategic thinking. Frequent concept reviews, cumulative assessments, and personalized revision sessions ensure students retain previous knowledge while confidently approaching more challenging material.
Students preparing for school examinations, board assessments, SAT, ACT, university entrance examinations, or competitive mathematics tests receive customized preparation plans that include structured revision schedules, timed assessments, examination strategies, and detailed performance analysis. Continuous feedback helps learners recognize strengths, overcome weaknesses, and steadily improve academic performance.
