About Mikey

I’m Mikey, a Welsh Film and TV Actor. I’ve always loved all kinds of acting from a young age but Film/TV was always the goal.
Coming from the Valleys, there were next to no opportunities so I made my own! I started shooting my own short films with simple equipment and before too long I found myself getting reoccurring work with companies such as Netflix, BBC & HBO.
I’m now at a point in my career now where I don’t need to beg people for auditions or continuously search for new work. Instead, now I’m more focused on curating a career where I can work with people I admire and learn from them along the way.

That’s where you fit in!
Are you trying to start a career in Film/TV sector but not sure what jobs to accept? Not sure about how to get representation or create a showreel?
No worries we all need guidance at the start. With my open-minded approach to acting work, I can help you decide what type of artist you are and create a strategy to get you employed and having fun!

About the lesson

Acting can be one of the toughest professions to break into, Theatre or Screen. You always hear “it’s who you know, not what you know”. However, this is not always the case. There are blueprints to success with everything, including being an artist.

Acting isn’t only about what happens on stage or screen, it’s who you are in the real world and how you reflect your experiences in your work. In my experience, I’ve found that even simple things like being authentic and receptive to others can really set you miles ahead of the ‘competition’.
Join me and I’ll help you to discover what it is you act for, whether it’s storytelling or simply survival. I can help you to channel that into a base of what could be a stable career/fun hobby.

I love Michael’s approach, he gave me a 10-week programme and massively increased my confidence on screen. Super helpful and insightful tips and tricks from someone who actually has lots of on set experience has increased my knowledge. Thanks Micheal!
