About Melissa
Melissa is a Master’s graduate in Piano Performance from the Schulich School of Music at McGill University, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). She performed in various concerto and solo piano recitals, and participated in multiple international competitions and festivals, earning multiple awards. Previously, Melissa also earned her Licentiate of Trinity College London (LTCL) Diploma and Associate of Trinity College London (ATCL) Diploma in Piano Performance.
She has been active in various chamber ensemble and orchestral performances as a pianist, violist, harpsichordist, and celesta player. As a dedicated performer and piano accompanist, Melissa loves collaborating with fellow musicians. Ultimately, her goal as a teacher is to make learning the piano an engaging and rewarding experience, suited to each student’s goals and interests.
