About Ashvika
I am currently undertaking an undergraduate MBBS degree and have over four years of experience working as a private tutor, during which I have helped many students achieve their academic goals. Having progressed through the school system myself and taught the curriculum extensively, I have a strong understanding of exam specifications, what examiners are looking for, and how to fully grasp content while applying effective exam technique. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge in a clear and approachable way, supporting students not only academically but also in building confidence, resilience, and belief in their ability to succeed and reach their goals.

My approach to teaching maths is structured, supportive, and highly personalised. I begin by identifying each student’s current understanding and learning style, then build concepts step-by-step to ensure strong foundations before progressing to more challenging material. A key part of my teaching involves working through a wide range of practice and exam-style questions together, modelling clear methods and exam technique while encouraging students to explain their reasoning. I place strong emphasis on addressing common mistakes, improving accuracy, and developing efficient problem-solving strategies. Throughout lessons, I regularly check understanding and adapt my approach as needed, with the aim of not only improving exam performance but also building confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards maths.
