About Ruby
I tutored while I was still in school and frequently helped my brother who has multiple learning disabilities. During covid, I was a private tutor for a family with one 6th grader and one 9th grader. I helped the 9th grader with math (mostly algebra) and I helped the 6th grader with all subjects.

I know that students can really struggle with math - you do not have to like math to work with me. For past students, I have them send a photo of the homework as soon as they get it, then I work through it on my own and come to our sessions prepared so we’re never wasting time and I’m never solving problems for them.
I took honors geometry, physics, pre calc, and AP calc AB in high school and got straight As, however I prefer to work with middle schoolers who are just seeing Algebra for the first time. I hope to keep them excited about math.
