- I have a Level 3 Vocals Diploma and a 1st Class BA Songwriting Degree from The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London - I worked at Wimbledon Montessori school as an Assistant Teacher with kids aged 3-5 yrs old - I have been teaching students of all ages ranging from 8 to 40 years old

Hey! I'm a singer-songwriter and graduated from The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London back in 2017. I teach guitar and/or songwriting to beginner and intermediate players, and have been playing for 15 years. I focus on fingerpicking techniques, standard and jazz/extended chords and scales, basic theory, and can teach specific songs upon request. I also believe ear training is a very important part of learning an instrument! In addition, I can prepare you for Grade 1-3 if you are interested in passing the ABRSM exams.
My songs have been played on BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Introducing in London, as well as added to the New Music Friday UK Spotify playlist and featured in "Emily in Paris" Season 4 - I would be happy to give you feedback and special tips on your songs and demos, or teach you ways to facilitate the writing process. My lessons will be relaxed and unstructured. I like to get to know my students individually so I can adapt my teaching approach to suit their specific needs. I teach from home and can also travel to you depending on where you live.

Perfect! Flo is a fantastic guitar teacher who is very adaptive to your style of music and brings out the fun and enjoyment of learning guitar while making sure techniques are learnt and applied correctly. After trailing out a few guitar teachers who made you repeat the similar patterns and songs, Flo was a complete contrast and my 6 months of lessons have been brilliant! Not only am I playing new songs - I am learning how songs are built up and how notes are formed so I can apply them myself going forward. The lessons are a great mix and totally adjusted for me as a player (and my very unique song choices!)
