About Marco

Hi, I’m Marco, a dedicated 3D printing designer and maker with real-world experience in both FDM and resin printing.

I don’t just teach 3D printing — I use it professionally to design, prototype, and produce detailed miniatures and functional products. My experience includes product design, troubleshooting complex printer issues, optimizing slicer settings, and achieving consistent, high-quality results.

Over time, I’ve learned that most frustrations in 3D printing come from small misunderstandings — bed leveling issues, incorrect temperatures, poor support placement, or slicer misconfiguration. My goal is to help you understand your machine and software properly so you can print confidently and independently.

I work with students patiently and practically, focusing on real solutions instead of theory overload. Whether you're setting up your first printer or refining your workflow to produce professional-quality results, I will guide you step by step.

You can expect:

Clear, structured lessons

Honest, practical advice

Real troubleshooting experience

Professional insight from someone actively working in the field

3D printing can feel overwhelming at first — but with the right guidance, it becomes an incredibly powerful and rewarding skill.

If you're ready to stop guessing and start printing with confidence, I look forward to working with you.

My Teaching Methodology & What Makes Me Different

I teach 3D printing from real-world experience — not just theory.

As an active designer and printer working with both FDM and resin systems, I focus on practical skills that students can immediately apply. My approach is hands-on, problem-solving driven, and customized to each student’s goals.

Rather than overwhelming students with technical jargon, I break complex concepts into simple, logical steps. Whether it’s bed leveling, slicer settings, support placement, troubleshooting failed prints, coding macros and commands for Klipper/Marlin, I teach you how to understand why things work — not just which buttons to press.

What makes me unique:

Real commercial experience designing and printing products

Strong troubleshooting skills (fixing failed prints, calibration, quality improvement)

Experience with miniatures, hobby models, and functional parts

Focus on helping students become independent and confident

Practical advice on turning 3D printing into a side business

Languages

I teach fluently in:

English

Semi fluent in Portuguese

Lessons can be adjusted depending on the student’s comfort level and technical background.

What to Expect From a Typical Lesson

Each lesson is structured but flexible, depending on your experience level and goals.

A typical lesson may include:

Printer setup and calibration guidance

Slicer walkthrough (profiles, supports, quality tuning)

Troubleshooting common print failures

Design basics in Autodesk Fusion 360 (if applicable)

Live problem-solving using your own printer or models

Tips to improve print quality immediately

Students can expect clear explanations, practical demonstrations, and step-by-step guidance. I also provide actionable advice you can implement right away.

If you already own a printer, we will work directly with your machine and settings.

My lessons are ideal for:

Beginners

First-time printer owners

People struggling with setup and calibration

Anyone overwhelmed by slicer settings

Hobbyists

Miniature painters

Model railway enthusiasts

Tabletop gamers

Cosplay prop makers

Intermediate Users

People wanting cleaner prints

Those struggling with consistency

Users wanting to design their own parts
