About Haley
Hello! My name is Haley, and I am a Victoria Junior College graduate with experience teaching Primary and Secondary Mathematics through both private tutoring and a student care center.
My lessons are well-prepared, patient, and encouraging, with a focus on helping students develop a strong foundation in Mathematics. My goal is not only to help students improve their academic performance but also to foster confidence and a genuine interest in learning.
Whether your child is looking to strengthen foundational skills, prepare for school assessments, or gain greater confidence in Mathematics, I am able to provide personalized support and help them achieve their goals.

Hi! I'm Haley, a Victoria Junior College graduate with experience teaching Primary and Secondary Mathematics through private tutoring and working with children in a student care centre. I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their mathematical abilities.
My lessons are personalised to suit each student's learning pace and goals. I believe that understanding concepts is more important than memorising methods, so I focus on helping students build strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking. Lessons may cover topics such as numbers, fractions, geometry, measurement, word problems, and exam strategies, depending on the student's needs. I guide students through worked examples before giving them opportunities to solve questions independently with personalised feedback.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. Each lesson begins with a review of previously learnt concepts, followed by new topics and guided practice to reinforce understanding.
I have experience teaching Primary Mathematics in one-to-one and small-group settings, as well as supporting students in a student care environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt my teaching to different learning styles, and help students gain confidence in their abilities.
My lessons are suitable for Primary 1 to Secondary 4 students following the Singapore MOE Mathematics curriculum. Whether your child needs help building a strong foundation, improving problem-solving skills, or preparing for school assessments, I look forward to helping them achieve their goals.
