About Katie
I am a current university student and would love to teach later down the line career wise. I am also very passionate about helping students reach their full potential. I understand how scary exams can be and have plenty experience with anxiety relating to exams so I’d love to be able to support students to have that extra confidence in themselves that they know the content and have the ability to smash their exams. I also am aware that getting the grades you need can be especially helpful in making your future opportunities and goals that bit easier. I am a great listener and love working with a variety of people as everyone is so interesting and you can always learn off new people, I also believe it’s important to help others as much as you can in the way you’re able to and if I’m able to offer my knowledge to make someone’s school experience slightly better I will be happy as I wish I had that in school, so why not pay it forward whilst I can

I am a great listener and will spend ample time at the beginning to cater the sessions towards how each student learns best, this will continue through the sessions and my tutoring approach can and will be adapted as/how needed. Tutoring will be especially student focused and will include lots of interaction to ensure the student has the best level of knowledge possible, we will also cover ways to retain that knowledge. Lessons can be anywhere from half an hour to an hour and a half, with breaks included in longer sessions
I am very comfortable and confident in tutoring younger students in a variety of ways
My lessons are for up to 16 for maths/science/english with speciality knowledge for higher maths and science papers, also a level physics
