About Aly
Within the company Cours Colbert, I have given lessons of GMAT/SAT/GRE (quantitative part) preparing students to continue their studies abroad.
I also gave a lot of general math tutoring for all levels.
I currently supervises students in the first year of engineering at the University of Kiron.

Hello,
Since I hold a degree in mathematics and I'm passionate about the English language, I decided to start to give GMAT lessons five years ago, starting with a specialized company for GMAT/SAT/GRE preparation and then independently.
I myself took the GMAT test and I got 50 in quant and 48 in verbal (a total score of 99%).
My pedagogy consists of creating for you all the conditions of success, accompanied with an organized preparation which is designed for your needs.
The first hour is for free, it will be used as a diagnostic assessment and it will allow you too to evaluate my style and method to help you to decide to continue with me or not.
My low rates (for now) is due to the fact that I am new on this site, and don't have many references yet.
I can receive and move in Paris for free.

Perfect! The first time I passed the Gmat I decided to work alone. Not a good choice . For the second time I decided to contact Aly. After contacting him, he responded to me right away and we set up our first lesson pretty quickly after that. I am based in Milan, Italy but he was able to give me lessons from Paris remotely using an interactive whiteboard, which can be viewed and edited by both users in real time.
During the lessons, Aly's teaching was fantastic and his explanations were crystal clear. He also gave me specific instructions on what I needed to do outside our lessons in order to achieve my target score. Perfect! Aly est un très bon professeur: professionnel, d'une grande patience, pédagogue, qui m'a beaucoup fait progressé. Il sait m'encourager et me motiver. C'est un vrai plaisir de le connaitre.
Un de ces points forts en plus de son expertise mathématique est son bilinguisme anglais, ce qui me permet à la fois de progresser en maths et en anglais. Non seulement nos discussions se tiennent en anglais et il m'aide aussi à progresser sur la partie "non mathématique" du gmat (critical reasoning etc)...
Je vous recommande fortement ce professeur- C'est un plaisir de travailler avec Solange et de la voir progresser.Aly's response :

Aly is a very good teacher: I had not done any maths for 8 years but he helped me refresh very fast what I had learnt and I improved a lot. He is very patient and explain well methods for any type of quant exercises.

Grâce à Aly, j’ai pu doubler mon score en Quanti. Il a su trouver des mots simples pour m’expliquer, et il a su m’encourager de façon très humaine jusqu’au bout ! Et j’ai obtenu le Master que je souhaitais à Berkeley !! Donc mission accomplie !!
Je recommande vivement Aly pour progresser au GMAT. Il donne des explications claires et pleins de petits conseils utiles pour réussir du mieux possible ! La progression est flagrante et motivante !
I prepared the GRE with Aly he was really great and was a huge help in maths. At university I took very little maths, Aly and his great pedagogical approach was able to help me to build my GRE mathematical skills. I would recommend him to anyone preparing the GRE!! I found Aly much better than Magoosh lessons and practice.
