About Rylie
Childhood memories for me consist of the steady hum of guitar strings vibrating through my family home. These early experiences shaped the musician I became after graduating from the Manhattan School of Music with an MMus in Music Performance. My career spans 5 years of dedicated practice and instruction.
I now work with teens and hobbyists who seek a disciplined approach to their instrument. Grade exam candidates often request my guidance to improve their clarity.
Working professionals also comprise a significant portion of my weekly schedule. My method relies on precise technical adjustments to ensure lasting progress. Curiosity drives my approach when analyzing new pieces of music. You will find that I prioritize consistency over speed during our time together.

Confidence arrives when a student can confidently perform a complex piece for an audience. We begin by performing a diagnostic skills check to identify exact areas for improvement. This allows me to structure a logical plan based on your current knowledge of reading sheet music or chord transitions.
My 5 years of experience inform how I teach acoustic technique and rhythm guitar. We navigate scales and modes through clear explanations of music theory.
Barre chords become manageable tasks rather than daunting obstacles. Tuning and maintenance are covered alongside strumming patterns for a complete educational experience. Lead guitar work is integrated into the curriculum once the foundational mechanics are solid. Lessons move at a pace that favors thorough comprehension over rushed milestones.
