About Alisha
Hi! I’m a pre-med student at UC San Diego and a current college tutor with experience helping students succeed in biology and chemistry. I’ve worked with students at different levels and understand how to break down challenging material into clear, manageable steps.
As a tutor, I prioritize professionalism, reliability, and clear communication. I come prepared to each session with a structured plan tailored to the student’s needs, whether that’s reinforcing foundational concepts, preparing for exams, or improving overall study strategies. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and independence in learning.

Alisha tutored me in chemistry and the way she taught was better than all my teachers. She had a really effective style of teaching that made everything stick in my head. Plus she is funny so she makes it easier to learn.
Alisha is an amazing tutor. She made both chem and bio easy to understand. I was struggling with concepts from both, but she helped me pass both classes by simplifying the concepts of each class, making it easier to understand and how to do the work correctly. Overall just an amazing tutor.
