About James
Hi, my name is James, and I am a third-year Microbiology and Immunology student at the University of British Columbia (UBC) with an A average. I am currently preparing to pursue a career in dentistry and have developed strong study habits and academic skills that I enjoy sharing with others.
I have experience tutoring middle school students and helping them understand concepts they previously found difficult. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to build confidence and help students become independent learners. By breaking complex topics into simple steps and creating a supportive learning environment, I have helped students significantly improve both their understanding and academic performance. I am patient, understanding, and committed to helping every student reach their full potential. Students are free to ask me any questions they have about me or about university if they are interested!

I strive to make learning enjoyable and engaging. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into smaller, easy-to-understand steps so students can build confidence and master each topic at their own pace. Each lesson is tailored to the student's learning style and academic needs. I offer tutoring for students from Kindergarten to Grade 10 in physics, chemistry, and math, helping them improve their grades and develop effective study habits that support long-term success.
