About William
I have been teaching biology and medical subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate level since 2010 within Cambridge University and the University of Sheffield. After attending school in Sheffield, obtaining 5 'A' grade A-levels (including in Physics, Chemistry and Biology) I received degrees in Pharmacology (science of drugs), Medicine and Surgery from the University of Cambridge in 2011. Since then I have worked as a Doctor and Scientist back in my home city, obtaining Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Physicians of London. I am currently Clinical Research Fellow in Cardiology at the University of Sheffield, in the process of completing a PhD and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education.
I have taught many medical and science students, and also coached several Sixth Formers as they prepare to apply to Medical School, many of whom have been accepted onto courses at Oxford or Cambridge.

I am flexible in terms of the content of my sessions - at your request I can cover any area of GCSE Biology, A-level Biology or the Undergraduate Medicine or Medical Sciences curriculum. I can also offer coaching on preparing for Medical School and/or Oxbridge applications - I have been on both sides of the desk during these processes!
I pride myself on pitching teaching at the right level. As doctors we have to be skilled at this to communicate effectively with other colleagues and of course with patients.
