I encourage my students to learn the phonetic sounds of all the letters in the English alphabet. I make use of the whole language approach, to include multiple facets of language, methods and strategies so that the identification of words, letters and their sounds become second nature to the student. Students soon become familiarized with the English language and learn to read and write during the time that I instruct them.
