Joe was an excellent student of economics, always working hard to overcome any difficulties he encountered with enthusiasm and very good humour. He is naturally intelligent and could readily see the application of the subject to real life situations. As such he has the capacity to make the most abstract economics become accessible to others through making the subject come alive. He will be an excellent asset to this site, not least because of his gentle, patient manner and ability to empathise with others.

Joe is both highly intelligent and hard working, a winning combination. He frequently offered original insights into our set texts, he read widely beyond the syllabus, and he worked out how to perform to the best of his ability in the exams. There is no doubt that Joe knows how to do well at A Level English Literature, and I'm sure that he can teach other students to do well too.
