About Suhana
I have completed my Master's in English Literature at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), and my graduation from Miranda House Delhi University with an 8+ CGPA. I was awarded a JRF in English in 2023 in my first attempt at UGC NET. In addition, I have excelled in multiple competitive exams for UG and PG level entrance exams for English literature and secured a 99.99 percentile in CUET (PG) for MA English in 2022. I am an alumnus of Delhi Public School, RK Puram, Delhi. Besides that, I have practical experience as the editor and staff writer of several magazines including All Ears Magazine, Ayaskala and Patchworks Lit Mag. I have presented and published several academic papers related to gender studies, popular culture, and postcolonialism.

I firmly believe that teaching is an interactive process that has to cater to the needs of every individual student. The procedure I normally follow for my classes is indicated below:
- Firstly, I conduct one demo class entirely free of cost to ascertain the needs of the student. This also ensures that the student is able to assess whether I will be capable of meeting their requirements, without spending money unnecessarily. I encourage students or their parents to clear any doubts about my teaching process in this step.
- Secondly, I focus on making a plan/calendar based on the specific goals of the student. Competitive exams in particular, require rigorous planning and this needs to be tailored individually for each student, depending on their existing knowledge base, weak areas and date of commencement of classes.
- Lastly, I provide handouts and practice tests for all my students to ensure that they can measure their progress. In addition, I take regular feedback to alter my teaching methods accordingly.
I firmly believe that the process of teaching cannot be confined to one or two hours a week, therefore, I am always one call or text away for my students; and in fact, I encourage them to reach out for help and additional support.
