About Anika
I am a current Master's student who is studying Contemporary British History. I have a background in tutoring History and English for the last 2 years, and I have experience working with children of all levels and ages. One of my previous students had progressed his grade in English from a 2 to achieving a 7 in his GCSE's.

My teaching method is by first outlining a plan of progression with the student. This aims to recognise where they currently see themselves and where their weaknesses and strength are. This also allows for the setting of a goal, where do the students what to be in terms of progression in 6 months or a year. I base my lessons on what the students are learning at school and then discussing with them if there are topics they need more aid in and approaching those first. I approach each topic and lesson in collaboration with the student and where we both believe they need more help.
