I have an undergraduate degree in English Literature and History and was a private tutor and writing peer advisor throughout my final year. I have also taught literacy to primary and secondary British and international students at all academic levels.

My teaching method varies simply because it is dependent on the student. If, for instance, the student is a visual learner then I will try to incorporate as much visually stimulating material into the learning discussion as possible including diagrams, videos, graphs, etc. Generally speaking, however, I approach each topic by first explaining the background/context and it's importance and then proceed logically through an planned agenda.

Owing to the current pandemic, I would prefer to tutor students online via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. If this is not possible, however, tutoring sessions can be done face-to-face in my home if needed.
