About Somes Mahanti
History is a subject that is more interesting than mathematics or science because those subjects are more objective. It is interesting because it has multiple perspectives, unlike mathematics and science where no one can raise their own opinions towards the subject, as they require experiment and principles to draw up conclusions. Since history has multiple perspectives it is crucial for a me to develop well-structured classroom debates for leamers, as this promotes creativity and construction of arguments . Debates make the subject to be more fun and enjoyable for learners.

A History teacher should be a storyteller. So am I.This enables the teacher to be able to communicate the past events to leamers more effectively and not just stating a chronological date for events as this may led to learners not participating in class or being bored by the subject. I use the attire that was used in that time to demonstrate what past people wore, as this may add to the effectiveness of good storytelling.
