About Ben
Hi there, I'm Ben Chesworth, Physics student at Manchester University starting in 2022/23. My love for Maths and Physics has led me to want to encourage and tutor younger Mathematicians and Scientists.
I believe that one on one learning is the greatest way to remove the barriers of learning; the doubt or distractions that can exist in a class environment, and I live by there being no dumb questions in Sciences; I've asked plenty in my time! Because of this, whilst I will push my students to always achieve, I will always make sure they are comfortable with how they are learning, and that they are able to truly understand instead of having every question unanswered.
I am also a huge lover of Theatre/Film and Music, being a multi-instrumentalist and producer, and have gained many different ways of learning and self-improving that I believe are applicable to all types of craft, be scientific, humanitarian or artistic.

I believe in the importance of understanding each individuals way of learning, and have seen great success using a practical, visual way of teaching to help students think beyond their textbooks.
My typical lesson length is 45-60 minutes for GSCE subjects, primarily maths/physics, and as a post A-Level student with high attainment in GSCE and A-Level, I have a good understanding of the courses students are doing currently, and therefore can assist with relevant advice.
