About Kerry
I am a qualified CELTA tutor, it came about just so I could improve on my own language skills, a native English speaker who found an interest to teach what I had been taught. To EAL students in English schools and native English speakers struggling with the English language. I find it interesting to be part of a global classroom and learn from my different students.

I will write up a lesson plan before each lesson and each student receives homework. I teach from updated GCSE revision guides and direct from teachers' lesson plans, currently working in secondary schools. My CELTA qualification is from Cambridge University, and I find the teaching guides from Cambridge University IGCSE syllabus to be helpful teaching EAL students. I am a member of the Society of Authors. I have written for university journals. For online journals. I have edited a number of written pieces for an artist publisher. I teach pronunciation based on research by Adrian Underhill and Ann Baker, teachers' books on learning and teaching pronunciation.
