About Bella
Hi my name is Bella :) I am 23, working in the Auckland CBD and outside of my corporate job I am a violinist. I taught throughout my time at university as a music teacher, but also as an early childhood teacher so I have much experience in working with children. I started playing violin when I was 8 and continued to learn both inside and outside of school/ university. After finishing my business degree stayed an extra year to complete my post graduate degree in music. I have played in many orchestras, weddings, pubs, have taught in community classes and privately so have much experience.

I would say my teaching style is very technique focused. I like to focus on bow, posture, left hand technique over quickly learning new pieces. I would say I am a "chill" teacher who does not like to rush my students but rather let them learn in their own time. I am flexible with the length of lessons but do not think teaching for more than 2 hours is productive. I have taught many private students, have taught in group settings, have taught beginners and more advanced players. I have also helped students with their exam pieces. I have completed up to grade 8 for Trinity College of London and have a post graduate degree in music which I completed with performance in violin. I am comfortable teaching beginners, children, adults, teens and advanced players.
