I believe that the approach in teaching at schools is only focussed on mugging up chapters and thus students gain nothing from it. It's important for the student to understand the basics of the subjects. Each students learns depending on their own pace and rushing to things would only make it worse. My approach in teaching would include detail understanding on basic concepts by giving them the time they need for the same.
