About Valeria
Hi, I'm Valeria. I’m from Brazil, São Paulo.
Today, I am a Portuguese learning specialist, but as a child, I had few opportunities to learn. I needed teachers who believed in my potential to become who I am today. I know that the right activities to learn are the key to success. More than books, you need someone who can assess your learning abilities, see your potential and guide you. That's me! I will teach you how to speak and listen, read and write Portuguese.
For many people, learning a second language by listening to music is enough, but it is harder for many others. Whatever place you take, you are with me! I will make your learning process smooth and easy.
A bit about me, I am a coffee lover, crazy for reading, absolutely crazy for Brazil and its treasures. I have been to many places in Brazil, such as Porto de Galinhas, northeast, Santa Catarina-south, Natal, top of the northeast, Caldas Novas, central south, Rio, Minas, and around: Australia, the USA, China, Hong Kong, Finland, Paris, Portugal, Spain, and a few places in the UK. My lessons are interesting, colourful, funny, and made for you and made to attend to your learning needs. We start with 10 minutes of catch up, 15/20 minutes of content/explanation, after that a wrap up. Review what you have had, structured.
Homework is set if the students ask for that.
Music, culture and news is part of the learning process.
