About Steven

I am a student of lyrical singing at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, with experience in teaching singing for children, youth and adults. I work at the University as a teacher for students from other careers other than music, who want to know and develop their musical and vocal skills to the fullest.

About the lesson

My singing teaching methodology is framed in the New Vocal Pedagogy, which starts from naturalness and health when singing, developing an awareness of correct body work and added to a solid and genuine musical performance. I achieve this through: -Proper vocal warm-up -Vocalization exercises -Vowel recording exploration -Repertory choice -Speech therapy resources -Hygiene and vocal health -Poetic-interpretive work -Character exploration
