About Stuart
This year, Stuart celebrates 25 years in teaching, a journey that began at the age of two in the Midlands with training in Ballet, Tap, and Modern. Over the years, he has expanded his skills to Drama, Freestyle, Street Dance, and Musical Theatre, and later progressed into theatre management.
Stuart has appeared on television and built an impressive portfolio as a teacher, choreographer, writer, and director. He has worked on numerous pantomimes, musicals, and plays for local theatre companies, showcasing his creativity and versatility. He is proud to have trained students who have gone on to achieve incredible milestones, including performing in a variety show at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End, and gaining places at the Sylvia Young Theatre School and the BOA Creative, Digital & Performing Arts Academy based in Birmingham. Stuart has previously provided professional workshop opportunities for his students with renowned performers such as Oti Mabuse (Strictly Come Dancing), Harrison Vaughan (The Greatest Dancer), and Warren Bullock (Baby Ballroom). This year, his Adult Musical Theatre students are participating in the Rik Mayall Festival, performing a children’s theatre adaptation of Snow White. Over the past 15 years, Stuart has delivered engaging performing arts sessions in primary schools and care homes, offering after-school clubs, PPA cover, seated exercise classes, and live performances.
Stuart is a Freelance Adjudicator for Online and Live Performing Arts Competitions and an Examiner, Musical Theatre Artistic Director for the National Performing Arts Alliance. His dedication has been recognised with the Midlands Enterprise Award for Most Dedicated Youth Performing Arts School in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

My teenage son Oli loves musical theatre and has been attending singing lessons with Stuart for the last year. Stuart is an excellent and encouraging teacher and has been fantastic in further developing Oli’s vocal range and technique.
