About Matt
I am a Bath University student in politics and international relations, and I have been tutoring students since last summer. Furthermore, I have 3 A* at A level in Politics, History and Philosophy, an A in AS level Maths and at GCSE I got 10 A* or level 9 grades. These results show that I know what it takes to get the best grades in exams, and I will share all my revision techniques that helped me achieve these top grades with my students. Moreover, I undertook my A levels and GCSE exams relatively recently so I am familiar with most of the courses as I undertook them myself. Also, I can very much relate to students revising for these exams and I understand they can be stressful experiences, but hopefully with my help I can make the experience less stressful and more successful.

My teaching methodology varies upon the size of the class. In larger groups I base my lessons on key topics in the exam syllabus, which involves first understanding the foundational knowledge for the topic and then seeing how you could apply the knowledge to answering exam questions. In smaller groups I give more freedom to the students to choose specific areas of the syllabus that they find most challenging, and this can include going through past exam papers together.
