About Tayara
With 8 years of teaching experience and over 150 students guided, I am a flute tutor committed to nurturing both skill and creativity in my students. I teach all levels, focusing on technical mastery—breath control, tone, finger technique, and rhythm—while also encouraging improvisation and musical expression.
Lessons are customised to each student’s abilities, interests, and goals, making learning effective and enjoyable. I also provide instruction in sight-reading, music theory, and performance preparation, helping students gain confidence and versatility. My aim is to develop skilled, confident, and inspired musicians who carry their love for the flute throughout life.

Flexibility allows me to modify exercises, repertoire, and practice techniques to suit each student’s pace and goals. Collaboration is a central part of my approach, with students engaging in duets, group exercises, and ensemble practice to enhance confidence, timing, and musical communication. Positivity guides every lesson, fostering a supportive environment where students feel motivated to explore, experiment, and celebrate achievements.
Alongside flute instruction, I provide lessons in music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This comprehensive methodology develops technical proficiency, expressive skill, and musical understanding, preparing students to become confident, versatile, and passionate musicians.
