About Lyra
I am a passionate ESL tutor with 4 years of professional experience, dedicated to helping students communicate clearly and confidently in English. I have had the opportunity to teach between 150 and 200 students of various levels and backgrounds, guiding them towards their personal and academic goals. My teaching approach is centred on personalised learning. I take time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning objectives. Based on this, I design customised lesson plans that focus on practical communication, grammar accuracy, and vocabulary development. My classes are structured yet flexible, allowing students to progress at a comfortable pace. I use interactive activities, real-life examples, and conversation practice to improve fluency and understanding. I aim to make every lesson engaging and meaningful. One of my unique skills is my strong communication ability and patience when explaining difficult topics. I believe that students learn best in a supportive environment where they feel respected and encouraged. I provide regular feedback, motivation, and strategies to help learners improve consistently.
