About Simi
I am a student of horticulture and plant science and was a straight A student when at school. I am new to tutoring but have educated my daughter and believe that the best way to learn is to have fun. I have spent the last few years working in horticulture whilst continuing my own education in biology, geography and ecology. My love of these subjects make it a pleasure to share knowledge. I am also well equipped to teach most subjects at primary level and have a vast array of resources used to teach my daughter who is several years ahead.

I use interactive methods of teaching, using an array of different media to keep students engaged. We all learn in different ways and I aim to find the most beneficial for each individual student. This could take the form of games, anagrams, mind maps, exercises, practical interaction, song, reading and watching short clips. My aim is to bring older students to level of being able to teach what they are learning to another and present information in a clear and thoughtful manner.

Primary school students will be charged £10/hr, discounted rates will be given for groups and 10 up front hours will be £90
Secondary students will be charged £15/hr, discounted rates will be given to groups and 10 up front lessons will be £125
I am happy to teach at your home but an additional travel fee will be charged dependent on distance
