About Quinn
I have 9 years of experience teaching piano and hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Music Pedagogy. I have taught students from beginners exploring their first pieces to advanced learners preparing for recitals, examinations, and creative projects. My teaching spans classical, contemporary, and ensemble-focused approaches, allowing me to nurture both technical skill and expressive artistry.

My piano lessons focus on developing strong technical skills while fostering expressive and creative musical interpretation. Lessons cover scales, arpeggios, finger independence, sight-reading, dynamics, phrasing, improvisation, and repertoire interpretation. I use guided exercises, interactive improvisation, ensemble work, and performance practice to ensure that learners build both precision and expressive ability. Each lesson is designed to balance technical mastery with artistic growth, helping students feel confident at the piano.
Lessons are structured according to skill level. Beginners concentrate on posture, finger placement, note reading, and simple melodies to establish a solid foundation. Intermediate learners refine technique, sight-reading, rhythm, phrasing, and musicality while exploring diverse repertoire. Advanced students work on intricate compositions, expressive interpretation, performance preparation, and improvisational skill, preparing for exams, recitals, or creative projects. Continuous feedback, structured practice, and supportive guidance are embedded in every session to foster improvement.
