About Tomas
With more than 8 years of piano teaching experience, I specialise in helping college students achieve both technical mastery and artistic expression. My teaching style is adaptive and creative, designed to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student.
I combine traditional techniques with innovative approaches, including improvisation, composition exercises, modern music arrangements, and interactive digital tools to make lessons engaging and meaningful. I emphasise technique, music theory, rhythm, and performance skills while fostering creativity and confidence.
I create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel challenged, inspired, and encouraged to explore their musical abilities. My mission is to help students develop a personal connection to music, enjoy performing, and achieve their musical goals while building a lifelong love for piano.

My approach to teaching piano is creative, thoughtful, and structured. I guide students to become confident, independent, and disciplined musicians.
Creativity is built into each lesson. Students explore different songs, try simple improvisation, and participate in creative exercises to keep learning fun and engaging.
As a mentor, I encourage critical thinking by helping students understand rhythm, finger technique, scales, chords, and musical expression. Students learn to analyse their playing and improve their skills step by step.
Accountability is developed through clear goal setting, practice plans, and regular progress reviews. I help students build strong practice habits and stay responsible for their learning.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm skills, keyboard basics, and simple composition to support overall musical growth.
