About Estelle
I have 9 years of experience teaching piano to learners from beginners to advanced performers. I hold a B.Mus in Classical Piano and Music Performance, giving me expertise in technical precision, repertoire mastery, and pedagogical strategy. My teaching philosophy emphasises a balance of structured skill-building and creative exploration, enabling students to develop both technical proficiency and expressive artistry.
In lessons, I integrate exercises for finger independence, scales, sight-reading, repertoire practice, phrasing, dynamics, improvisation, and ensemble collaboration. Instruction is customised to each learner’s abilities, goals, and musical interests, providing clear guidance and encouragement throughout the learning process.
Outside teaching, I perform regularly, attend masterclasses, and explore diverse repertoires to bring fresh insights into lessons. Witnessing students progress from tentative beginners to confident, expressive performers is profoundly rewarding. My mission is to cultivate technical mastery, musicality, and a lifelong passion for piano.

Instruction is tailored to the student’s skill level. Beginners focus on posture, hand positioning, basic exercises, simple repertoire, and rhythm training. Intermediate students refine technique, articulation, phrasing, expression, and more complex repertoire while beginning ensemble collaboration. Advanced learners work on intricate compositions, improvisation, stylistic nuance, performance preparation, and interpretive depth. Each lesson combines structured development with creative exploration, ensuring well-rounded growth in technical skill and artistry.
The goal is to develop technically skilled, musically expressive, and confident pianists. Lessons emphasise discipline, creativity, and self-expression while nurturing performance readiness.
