About Alfredo
Alfredo Alcocer began his musical studies at the age of 7 at the National Conservatory of Music where he graduated as a Piano Concertist. At the age of 17, in Mexico City he had his first performance as a pianist at the National Auditorium and throughout his professional career he has performed as a soloist and as part of the orchestra at the Azteca Stadium, at the Bicentennial Auditorium Mexiquense and in the Manuel M. Ponce Room of the Palacio de Bellas Artes. He has been invited as a pianist to play on various television programs such as: “Animal Nocturno” with Ricardo Rocha, vibrate your day with Munirá and for channel 22 in the framework of commemorative concerts for the 150th anniversary of the National Conservatory of Music. Alcocer has offered numerous concerts in different cities of the United States, Italy and Mexico. He is currently a member of the ensemble "los ten pianos" with whom he was recently awarded for the second time with the award "Lunas del Auditorio" in the category "World Music" in addition to his work as a concert player since 2011, he is founder and professor of the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Mexico City.
