About Naya
My love for piano began with the realization that music can express feelings beyond words. This passion led me to earn a B.Mus in Piano Performance and later an M.Mus in Artistic Pedagogy, giving me both strong technical training and teaching expertise. Over the past 11 years, I have guided students of different ages and backgrounds toward confident and expressive piano playing.
I believe learning piano should feel encouraging, not intimidating. My teaching style focuses on clarity, steady pacing, and helping learners develop strong fundamentals while also enjoying musical creativity. Each student receives personalized guidance based on their goals, whether they play for enjoyment, academic study, or performance.
Outside teaching, I remain connected to piano through continued repertoire exploration, performance practice, and research into modern music education methods. Teaching is deeply rewarding because I see students transform from hesitation into confident musicians who find joy in their progress. Helping learners discover their musical voice is at the heart of my work.

Piano lessons become most inspiring when students feel they are learning how to communicate through music rather than simply pressing keys correctly. My lessons focus on building strong foundations in finger technique, rhythm stability, note reading, and expressive interpretation through structured and supportive teaching. I guide learners patiently so they feel progress is steady, enjoyable, and meaningful.
Beginners start with posture, hand coordination, simple melodies, and basic music reading skills that create confidence early on. Intermediate students strengthen chord fluency, sight-reading, pedal use, and dynamic expression through guided repertoire practice. Advanced learners refine complex pieces, interpretation depth, performance preparation, and exam readiness with detailed musical feedback. I also encourage creativity through improvisation and exploration, helping students connect emotionally with the piano.
Piano lessons also develop patience, focus, and self-confidence. Many students discover that music becomes a source of calm, pride, and emotional expression. Over time, learners grow into musicians who trust their abilities and enjoy sharing music with others. My goal is to support each student in building both skill and joy in their piano journey.
