About Nora
My journey with piano began with a fascination for melody, harmony, and musical storytelling. This led me to pursue an M.Mus in Piano Pedagogy, where I developed both technical mastery and teaching skills. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students from beginners to advanced performers, helping them develop technique, expression, and confidence at their own pace. I believe piano instruction should balance discipline with enjoyment. Many learners struggle with coordination or self-doubt, so I create a supportive and encouraging environment. I emphasize gradual skill-building, creative exploration, and constructive feedback to help learners flourish. Outside teaching, I remain engaged with piano through performance, composition, and continued study. Teaching piano is deeply fulfilling because I witness students develop both skill and artistic expression. Helping learners discover the joy and confidence of musical performance is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

Learning piano becomes more inspiring when students understand not only the mechanics of playing but also the emotional depth of music. My lessons focus on technique, hand coordination, sight-reading, rhythm, musical interpretation, and repertoire building. I guide learners to express themselves through music, combining technical skill with artistic understanding. Each lesson is structured to build confidence gradually while keeping creativity and enjoyment at the forefront.
Lesson content is adapted to each student’s level. Beginners focus on note reading, hand positioning, basic scales, and simple pieces to build foundational skills. Intermediate learners develop dexterity, sight-reading, musical phrasing, and expressive performance. Advanced learners refine technical mastery, interpretive skills, complex repertoire, and stage presence. Every lesson combines exercises, repertoire practice, and constructive feedback.
Piano lessons also cultivate patience, focus, and self-expression. Students learn discipline and emotional connection to music while gaining confidence in performing. As learners progress, many discover joy in creating and interpreting music. My goal is to help students enjoy piano as both a technical and expressive art form while building lasting skill and confidence.
