About Naomi
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy, with 9 years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. My teaching philosophy emphasizes balancing structured technical exercises with creative exploration, ensuring that learners progress while enjoying the process. I tailor lessons to each student’s pace, interests, and goals to create a motivating and effective learning experience.
I design lessons that progressively build skills, focusing on posture, finger technique, and musical understanding for beginners. Intermediate learners develop repertoire, sight-reading, and expression, while advanced students focus on performance preparation and nuanced interpretation. My approach encourages active engagement, curiosity, and consistent practice, helping learners achieve both technical mastery and expressive ability.
