About Juliana
I am a piano tutor with 11 years of experience and a PhD in Piano Studies. Teaching has given me the opportunity to guide students of different ages while helping them build strong musical foundations through patient instruction.
My teaching philosophy combines structured learning with creative exploration. I encourage students to understand music deeply while developing confidence through consistent practice and positive encouragement.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing piano music, studying new repertoire, and collaborating with other musicians. These experiences enrich my lessons and inspire students to continue growing throughout their musical journey.

My piano lessons create an enjoyable learning experience where students develop both technical skills and musical creativity. We begin with hand position, rhythm exercises, finger independence, note reading, and simple pieces before gradually introducing more challenging music. Every lesson includes practical demonstrations and enjoyable activities that help students understand music naturally.
As learners become more confident, we explore scales, chord progressions, sight reading, pedal control, dynamics, improvisation, duet playing, and expressive performance. Personalized practice plans and regular feedback help students improve steadily while maintaining enthusiasm for learning. Every lesson is adapted to suit individual goals and experience levels.
My goal is to help every learner become a confident pianist who enjoys expressing ideas through music. Each lesson strengthens technical ability, musical understanding, creativity, and performance confidence in a supportive environment.
